Nitrogen is a dry inert gas with the following uses in the HVAC/R industry:

Uniweld does not recommend that CO2 be used for purging or pressure testing an A/C&R system because it may from carbonic acid within the system, causing premature equipment failure. The Sludge Sucker® Kit options include a choice of high or low-pressure regulators for Nitrogen or CO2 [with optional F36 adaptor] and various carrying stands depending tank size. All Sludge Sucker® Kits include the handy Sludge Blaster® for quickly unclogging drain pipes.

40055 Sludge Sucker® Maintenance Kit
A versatile, all-in-one kit that includes a Nitrogen regulator with a delivery pressure up to 400 PSI for pressure testing an A/C&R system for leaks. It also includes many accessories for cleaning condensate drain lines and for blowing off coils. It even has a air chuck to fill up that flat tire. As a bonus, our Sludge Blaster® is included. Carry stands are sold seperately.
